What is Veritas vos liberabit?

Veritas vos liberabit is Latin for "The truth will set you free" (roughly) Veritas vos liberabit is about truth, opinion, analysis of current events, news, National and International policy in domestic, military and government affairs. We examine this from the standpoint of is normally termed "Classical Liberalism" upon which the Republic of the United States of America was founded upon. As will be presented elsewhere in great detail and a separate series of articles, Classical Liberalism has almost nothing to do with the modern "liberal" or modern "liberalism" which we see as a usurpation of the ligitimate school of thought and ploitical philosophy as laid down by John Locke and others, and adopted as the foundation of the Republic. Modern liberalism is so far removed from Classical Liberalism and has a way of looking at things, and is as hostile to liberty as to be permanently referred to here as Progressive Socialism.

Though we welcome a variety of opinion and authorship, Veritas vos liberabit seeks to examine the condition of our Republic and it's continuance as completely addressed within the confines of restoring our Republic to it's foundation upon those Classical Liberal standing.

It is important, even critically so to make the distinction between Classic Liberalism, it's basis in thought and practice from the modern usurpation, as the latter is often such a distortion of the term that comparison is not only impossible, but the antithesis of such a philosophy. These distortions of what liberalism in any sense often employ logical falacies, misrepresentations of what is commonly referred to as "the possition of right wing(ers)" in it's various expressions (Conservatism, Libertarianism, Tea Party etc) and the proposed/implied "moral superiority" of those on the left. Our job here is manifold, but to expressly counteract this widespread distortion, especially in media and social media.

Fear not, we attack the right wing with equal furocity, the "GOP" in particular which has for all intents and purposes abandoned it's foundation and often is directly hostile to other shadings of "the right".

Boiled down to it's simplest core Classical Liberalism is founded upon three things, that our Creator has endowed us with unalienable rights of Life, Liberty and Property (or Happiness), those rights do NOT come from government or any other institution created by man. The sole purpose of government is protection of those recognized rights. Government has become increasingly hostile to those very rights, and must be corrected by the actions of a responsible, informed, engages citizenry.

Veritas vos liberabit has been established to achieve these goals through journalist activism, educating the citizens, and encouraging the practice of responsible civic duty.
